Why are we different? That’s a good question.

Energy monitoring at the asset level has traditionally been cost prohibitive for small and medium sized businesses. Building Management Systems are designed for the big guys (big buildings and big businesses with lots of resources). As a result, they also cost big bucks. We offer a solution that is 10% of the cost and gets you the same benefits.

We are changing that with a scalable, cost-effective energy monitoring and management solution. We can retrofit existing structures and integrate into new builds. Our flexibility to provide you with what you need, and only with what you need, is endless.

We also recognize that designing a strategy to increase sustainability and achieve net-zero goals can be stressful, especially for small to medium-sized businesses with limited resources. That is why eliminating waste in your current operations is a key first step. Why? Because the cleanest, cheapest and safest energy source is the energy we do NOT need to produce in the first place.

From a business perspective it benefits the bottom line. The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Society crunched the numbers and found energy efficiency efforts have substantially lower costs to implement than fossil fuels, and even beat out wind, solar and geothermal energy.

To eliminate existing waste, we need accurate, real-time, energy consumption data that will pinpoint inefficiencies. We need to show energy use at the asset level on a second by second basis. In other words, we need to disaggregate the data in both watts and time.

With the disaggregated energy data we can manage energy waste just like any other business or organizational process. The savings reduce overhead, increase profits, and provide funds for equipment upgrades, additional staff, and more.

Here is how energy monitoring provided a locally-owned restaurant here in Arizona with information to reduce their energy consumption.  You are seeing data from an evaporative cooler used in the food preparation area.  The pink shows how much energy was being consumed when we started monitoring. The cooler was running for days on end. The purple shows you how much was being used after a timer was installed that cut power when the restaurant was closed. The result was a 53% reduction in energy use without any impact to daily operations.

Success is in the numbers. We can tell you what we do and how we do it. However, it’s real-world achievements that truly tell our story. The proof is in the case studies | See More >
